Molly Toth (she/her)
Manager of Communications and Marketing
Molly Toth is the Communications and Marketing Manager for Second Nature, responsible for creating content and messaging that elevates the work of Second Nature and the campuses in its network to advance climate action.
Prior to joining the team at Second Nature, Molly was the Communications and Content Manager for the National Aviary. She worked to grow the Aviary’s profile and share stories through owned and earned channels that highlighted the organization’s work in animal care, avian medicine, and conservation. Molly managed media relations and secured coverage for the Aviary in the Washington Post, the Guardian, People Magazine, and the Wall Street Journal. She previously managed communications and advocacy programs for YWCA Mahoning Valley, focusing on racial justice, gender equity, and civic engagement.
When she isn’t birding, Molly spends her time trail running, lifting weights, and hiking, but is equally happy curling up with a good book and spending time with her cat, Murray. She splits her time between Pittsburgh and Harrisburg. She is currently a graduate student studying ecological grief and science communication in Miami University’s Project Dragonfly program. Her freelance writing has been published in Jacobin and Wild Hope Magazine.
