Climate Justice Fellow
Chaz is a Climate Justice Fellow at Second Nature. In this role, Chaz aims to provide research and metrics on current higher education climate justice initiatives. Currently, Chaz’s research interests prioritize the intersections of climate justice and racial justice. As a Ph.D. Candidate at the University of California Irvine, Chaz’s dissertation seeks to acknowledge the connections of capital, race, and environment, with a particular focus on the Gulf South. Additionally, Chaz serves as a member of the National Conference of Black Political Scientists and the American Studies Association.
