Climate Programs Intern

Carmiya is the Climate Programs Intern at Second Nature. She focuses on researching developing climate action resources, analyzing campus climate resilience and sustainability data, and general support of Second Nature’s Climate Programs.

Carmiya is currently pursuing an M.S. in Sustainability at Tuft University’s Department of Urban and Environmental Policy and Planning. She has a B.A. in Geography with a minor in Environmental Science from Clark University. She studies climate change action planning, implementation, and evaluation mainly at a campus or city scale. Her academic interests include corporate social responsibility, energy efficiency, and sustainable transportation planning. She previously worked in the solar energy industry in both sales and operations roles.

Carmiya enjoys going to local farmers’ markets, traveling, working out, and trying out the many great restaurants in the area with friends and family.
