Communications, Marketing & Policy Manager

Amanda Belles is the Communications, Marketing & Policy Manager at Second Nature, where she manages the external communications, marketing, and climate policy efforts for the organization.  Prior to joining Second Nature, she was the Program Manager for Retrofit Baltimore, A Program of the non-profit organization Civic Works, in Baltimore, Maryland.  In that role, she oversaw and managed the marketing and outreach effort and team for Retrofit Baltimore.

In addition to working for Civic Works, Amanda’s diverse professional background includes but is not limited to having worked at a non-partisan, non-profit in Washington, D.C.; doing children’s health policy for the Colorado Department of Health Care Policy and Financing; working in the Colorado Governor’s Office of Boards and Commissions for the gubernatorial administration of Colorado Governor Bill Ritter, Jr.; working for a solar company in Maryland; and working on two different political campaigns.

Amanda holds a Master’s in Political Science (with an emphasis in Politics and Public Policy) from the University of Colorado Denver, and a Bachelor’s in Political Science from Colorado State University.  Although born and raised in Colorado, Amanda is proud to now call Massachusetts her home.
