Audrey Choong, University of British Columbia

Audrey Choong is a graduate student at the University of British Columbia pursuing a Masters degree in Community and Regional Planning at the School of Community and Regional Planning (SCARP).

As the UC3 Climate Justice-in-Action fellow at UBC, she is investigating the ways in which climate justice is incorporated into transportation planning at UBC, by studying travel behaviour and different end-user needs through an equity lens. The end-goal is to provide recommendations to inform concurrent and future low-carbon mobility initiatives on the UBC campus and surrounding neighborhoods (e.g., car-sharing, e-bikes, transit). Prior to this, Audrey completed her undergraduate degree in Economics at the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA), with a minor in Urban and Regional Studies.
