Boston University, Engie, Second Nature and Boston’s Green Ribbon Commission are hosting a mid-day peer-to-peer workshop on Climate and Energy issues for Campus Decision-makers on July 31, 2019 at BU’s campus in Boston.
The 11 am-4 pm program also includes presentations from Caitlin Holley at The Ohio State University, Dennis Carlberg from Boston University, and Michael Webber from the University of Texas at Austin. It will be an opportunity to learn more about how one campus decided to engage in a path-breaking new initiative: a $1billion contract between OSU and Engie. You will also hear about new ideas at BU and UTX-Austin.
The post-lunch “Bring Your Own Problem” (BYOP) workshop will give you and other campus leaders an opportunity to present and discuss energy and climate-related concerns faced by campuses in our region. After presenting a problem, you, your peers, and other experts will identify possible solutions and discuss how they might approach it.
Expected participants include campus professionals from Boston University, Clark University, Emerson College, Mass College of Art & Design, Pace University, and Smith College, among others.
