Maggie has been committed to environmental advocacy in the education sector since high school, where she assisted the energy manager on school-wide energy conservation efforts and trash sorting. In college, her interests in both the natural and social sciences have culminated into studying an interdisciplinary approach to sustainable development. Outside of academics, Maggie has been busy organizing the campus fossil fuel divestment movement and holding leadership positions in Students for a Democratic Society (SDS) and the women’s ultimate frisbee team. This fall, Maggie looks forward to studying abroad in Beijing under a sustainability program.
With professional experience honed from internships at an NGO consulting firm as well as a nonprofit dedicated to engaging environmental voters, Maggie is excited to bring her knowledge and passion for addressing all three pillars of sustainability to Second Nature.
