Creating a Blueprint to Prepare for a Changing Climate
Second Nature requests nominations for students ready to lead or attend their regional/campus conversation, and work with Second Nature in a leadership capacity to capture the best practices, challenges, and solutions they feel necessary to prepare them for a changing society, climate, and future.
Students will help create a best practices guide using the notes and their experience from conversation on "Preparing Students for a Changing Climate" from around the country.
This is a unique opportunity to have your voice guide a national dialogue around the education and skills best suited to prepare students for a changing climate. Students of all levels are encouraged to apply. Interested students should possess a strong leadership background and knowledge and awareness of both campus sustainability and global issues related to climate change including climate science, energy, transportation, water, and food. You must be able to commit to 2-5 hours of review and meeting with other national Student Leadership Liaisons in October and November 2012.
Students should either be attending or organizing a regional or campus conversation. Apply below! For questions, contact Sarah Brylinsky at sbrylinsky@secondnature.org.
