The 2014 Climate Leadership Summit is designed by Presidents, for Presidents and Sustainability Staff in higher education. Hosted from October 1-3 at The Revere Hotel in Boston, MA, the Summit will focus on strategic national leadership, organizing the campus, sustainability financing and investment, and climate change science. ACUPCC On Air Series
During the month of April, the ACUPCC Support Team hosted a series of weekly discussions featuring topics presented by experts of the ACUPCC network, as well as a FAQs session with questions submitted by the network. The archived videos cover topics ranging from campus forests accounting in carbon calculations, to intentionally designed endowments.

On May 6, 2014, the Third U.S. National Climate Assessment (NCA) report was released in Washington DC and was followed by a White House event that afternoon. Meet the new Steering Committee Leaders
Meet the new Chair and Vice Chair of the ACUPCC Steering Committee! After four years of leadership, Timothy White, Chancellor of the California State University System, stepped down as Chair. The Committee elected Wim Wiewel, President of Portland State, as the next Chair, and Paul Ferguson, President of the University of Maine, as Vice Chair. We are very excited to welcome both of them.

Second Nature works to create a healthy, just, and sustainable society beginning by transforming higher education. Second Nature is the supporting organization of the ACUPCC, and directs programs in financing, capacity-building, and climate resilience.
The ACUPCC is a partnership of 674 colleges and universities in every state and the District of Columbia who have committed to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and prepare students through research and education to solve the challenges of the 21st century.
